Family Resources

The most important people in a person’s life is their family. Family, in the broadest sense of the term, includes a person’s parents, siblings, grandparents, extended family and other close community members. For a person with autism, it is important that their family members are informed about autism, treatment options, support groups, advocacy issues and other important resources. I spend a lot of time searching for great resources for families and provide information to keep everyone up to speed on key issues.

The best resources for families are those which they cannot just read but integrate into their lives to ensure that their involvement goes beyond just “being informed”, that’s why you’ll find here some amazing resources and opportunities to get involved.

If you know of some amazing resources or information that is not listed here, please feel free to post. The more information and resources we have available to us, the better informed we will be and the more involved we can get.
