I didn't know that it would not go into effect (and the insurance company didn't know either, BTW, they had to have a superviser "get back to me") until my policy renews at the beginning of the year. I suspect many people in the other 14 states are in the same boat and this won't have any real impact until 2010. I have an autistic son and I thought this law would help a lot.
