2012 Texas Autism Research Conference

The Texas Autism Research & Resource Center (TARRC) is holding its 2012 Texas Autism Research Conference. The conference will be held July 13-14, 2012, at the Commons Learning Center on the University of Texas J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin, Texas.

Join TARRC for this exciting opportunity to learn about cutting edge autism research and evidence-based practices related to the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The conference will highlight the work of researchers from Texas and across the nation, who are respected experts in the field of ASD. Covering a range of interesting topics, conference presenters will share their research findings and address important implications for practices.

Featured speakers include: Geraldine Dawson, Chief Science Officer at Autism Speaks; Katherine A. Loveland, Ph.D., Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston; and Eric Courchesne, Ph.D., Director of the Autism Center of Excellence at University of California San Diego.
